Arlene Joan Hempton, age 69, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Marys of Michigan, Saginaw. She was born on January 14, 1942 in Flint to the late Edward and Ruby Viola (Van Arsdale) Nash. Arlene moved to Tuscola County as a young lady. She was a Reese High School graduate and then earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Davenport College. Arlene Nash was married to David Hampton Sr., and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1991. Throughout her working career she was an accountant with an accounting service. She volunteered as an accountant for various aspects of HDC which include the LeRoy Clark Foundation, the womens shelter, and Walk for Warmth, in addition to the Moose, the Eagles and V.F.W., where she served in various capacities. She is survived by her children and their dad, Carl Tucker, Jr. (Renee Bolf) of Caro, Christine (David) Natale of Cass City, Gayle (Kevin) Wineman of Vassar, Brenda (Gary) Belcher of Caro, Lisa (Paul) Gilbert of Flint, Peggy (Christopher) Manley of Akron, Robert (Denise) Hempton of Rose Island; and their dad, Carl Tucker Sr.; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and her remaining siblings.
