Arline Isabelle Custer

Arline I. Custer, 88, of Caseville, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her home while under hospice care.

Arline Isabelle was born September 11, 1922 in Detroit to the late Frederick and Dorothy (Grix) Buhr. She married Dennis Custer in Aberdeen, Maryland. He preceded her in 2000.

They moved from Mt. Clemens to Caseville after retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting and crocheting.

She is survived by her children Dennis(Merris) Custer of Clinton Township, Pat (Louis) Denison of Honor, Lois (Dale) Haase of Mt. Clemens and Amy (Gerald) Guster of Caseville; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Wilfred Buhr and sisters Alice Becker, Dorothy Hemmen and Josehpine Coakley.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Fr. Robert Pare officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to St. Roch Building Fund.
