Armand “Dick” Richard Marrocco, 77, of Caseville, died peacefully at his home on Friday, December 16, 2016.
Dick was born October 21, 1939 to the late Virgilio and Palma. He served in the US Army in Korea at a radio relay outpost. He was proud of his 40 year career with Chevrolet Creative Services, retiring in 2000. Following retirement, Dick and Laurie moved to Caseville upon completion of building their dream home together. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and camping. Dick created numerous custom engineering projects, all of which were a great sense of pride and accomplishment. Together, Dick and Laurie enjoyed traveling. Their highlights included cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean with their family, and trips to their homelands in Italy and Ireland. He was a humble man, of sterling character, with a dry, witty sense of humor who was deeply loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Laurie (nee Allen), sons David (Rosanna Maddox) and Doug (Denise) of St. Clair Shores; and grandchildren Donavan, Madox, Riley, and Tyler; and brother Frank (Delores) of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph and son Derek.
