Arthur Robert Marke

Arthur Robert Marke, 81, of Bay Port, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

Art was born November 12, 1932 in Hamtramck to the late Stanley and Sophie (Wojciechowski) Marke. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, having served in the Korean War. He moved from Detroit to Huron County in 1975. He was a retired electrician from Active/Tower in Elkton.

He is survived by his brother John (Iva) of Illinois and sisters Dorothy Mucci of Clawson and Margaret (David) Szumlinski of Caseville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother James.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, November 14th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service.
