Audrey Lee Blackmer

Audrey Lee Blackmer (Sipes) of Caro, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw after suffering a stroke. Audrey was born August 14, 1970, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Ethelyn (Sherwood) Blackmer. She attended high school and went on to work in housekeeping. Audrey was most recently employed by Zehnder's in Frankenmuth and genuinely enjoyed cleaning. Audrey loved her cats and best fur friends, Jax & Opie. She kept a beautifully maintained flower bed & yard and always enjoyed spending time with her family. Audrey was loving, caring, and made sure to never miss a holiday, no matter how big or small. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Donald Sousa of Caro; children, Stephanie (Jerry) Watson of Inverness, Florida, and Christopher Sipes of Oklahoma; grandson, Nathan Sipes of Oklahoma; siblings, Alice Shamel of Caseville, Al Rayner of Caro, Robert (Patsy) Van Wormer of Saginaw, and Ethelyn Van Wormer of Caro; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann McConnell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Reverend Jay Blackmer officiating. Audrey's family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral.
