Audrey Elizabeth Daubenspeck

Audrey E. Daubenspeck, 97, of Caseville, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Stockbridge Country Care in Stockbridge, Michigan.

She was born February 6, 1918 in Sault Ste. Marie to the late John and Elizabeth (Simpkin) Donnelly. She married Kenneth Daubenspeck on April 27, 1946 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Flint. Ken preceded her in death on April 28, 2003.

Audrey worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Clemens for 27 years, retiring in 1976. She then moved to Atlanta, Michigan and worked at Onaway General Hospital. She moved to Caseville in 1997.

She is survived by her daughter Ruth (Charles) Beadle of Howell; grandchildren Teresa (Chris) Hohmann of Brighton, Ken Boswell of Howell, Chris (Heather) Irey of White Lake, Tracey (Chris) Hoepfner of Southgate and Thomas (Cheri) Beadle of Plymouth; great-grandmother of 15. She was preceded in death by her daughter Anne.

A Catholic funeral mass will be at 12:00 Noon Thursday, October 15th at St. Roch Catholic Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 6253 Main Street, Caseville, with Reverend Father Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in St. Roch Catholic Cemetery, Caseville.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am Thursday until the time of the mass in church. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to either St. Roch Catholic Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Building Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association.
