Audrey Kovacs

Audrey Sue Kovacs, age 52, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at home, following a lingering period of declining health. Audrey was born on February 3, 1960 in Caro, the daughter of Charles Richard & Sue (Jobson) Lockyer. Audrey graduated from Kingston High School with the class of 1978 and was a lifelong area resident. She was united in marriage with her long term friend and companion, Gregory Kovacs on January 15, 2010 in Caro. Audrey worked as a CENA employee at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility for thirty years, retiring in 2010. Audrey enjoyed her work at the medical care facility, cooking, her flower and vegetable garden, riding her bike on the back roads and all her many pets through the years. Audrey is survived by her husband, Gregory Kovacs of Caro; her mother Sue Fish and her husband, Don of Caro; three sisters, two brothers and their spouses, Denise & Brian Tretheway of Swartz Creek, Shelly & Theron Nesbitt of Caro, Martin & Crystal Fish of Deltona, Florida, Matthew & Elizabeth Fish of Tremble, Missouri, Lynn Ellen & Joe Rodriquez of Bay City and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Audreys father, Charles R. Lockyer preceded her in death. In keeping with Audreys wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 4:00 P.M.
