Audrie Anna Dorsch

Audrie A Dorsch age 19, of Elkton tragically lost her life Thursday morning, June 2, in an automobile accident in Colfax Twp.

She was born November 20, 1996 in Bad Axe to John Watson and Betty Brown and adoptive parents, Mitchell and Carolyn Dorsch grew up in Pigeon. After high school, Lakers Class of 2015, she worked as a waitress and was on her way to a job interview when the accident occurred.

Audrie was a fun loving girl and enjoyed going camping, baby sitting little ones, mud bogging and just being with her family and friends.

Surviving are her parents; her adoptive parents, Mitchell and Carolyn Dorsch of Pigeon; siblings, Ryder Morley of Pigeon, Jasmine Evans of Midland, Ashton Williams of Alma, Rayden, Samarria and Zalayah Carl all of Mt. Pleasant; grandfather, Edmund Brown of Sanford; great grandmother, Betty Brown of Sanford; grandmother, Martha (Levi Jr.) Smith of Remus; step mother, Lesley Watson of Remus; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Gail and John Phillips and Chris Whisenant, her boyfriend and Willow, her unborn child, who died with her in the accident.


Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, at Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Rev. Ean Green, pastor, will officiate with visitation from 2:00 PM to 7 PM Monday at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton and at the church after 10 AM Tuesday.
