Aurora Vasquez, age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at her home, surrounded by many of her family. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of the late Severo Soto Marie Trinidad (DeLeon) Vasquez. Aurora was a member of the Caro Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. For about ten years, she had been employed at Bay Valley as a Cook, until she became disabled. She loved to cook, collect cats and angels and play bingo. Aurora devoted her life to her family and was always thinking of others first. Aurora is survived by seven sisters, five brothers and their spouses, Guadalupe Santiago Noyola of Bay City, Matilde Juan Trujillo of El Paso, TX, Sylvia Vasquez of Grand Rapids, Leticia Don Lumley of Caro, Josefina V. Limas of Brownsville, TX, Marie Elena Jose Garcia of Caro, Simona Rogers of Caro, Severo Vasquez, Jr. living in Florida, Jose Alicia Vasquez of Bay City, Rosendo Natalie Vasquez living in Ohio, Jesus Vasquez and Gregorio Vasquez; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Graciela Vasquez, Timotea Ramirez; one nephew, Cornelio Vasquez and one great niece, Brianna Maria Garcia.
