Barbara Bauer

Barbara Jean Bauer of Caro, age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her home, following a lingering illness. Barb was born April 20, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Mahoney) Press. She was united in marriage with Gerald Bauer on June 11, 1966 in Flint. Barb enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers and house plants, and watching the wildlife around her home. Barb is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Gerald; her children and their spouses, Donald & Dawn of Burton, Annie & Benny of Macon, Georgia, Terry of Houston, Texas, Mike of Troy and Tina of Caro; nine grandchildren; one sister, Marge of Pasadena, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. A time of gathering and remembrance will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Cremation will follow the gathering.
