Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Campbell

Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Campbell of Caro, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at her home. Bobbie was born September 13, 1944 in Caro, the daughter of the late William Henry & Lucy Belle (Smith) Bailey. She was a 1962 graduate of Caro High School. Bobbie was united in marriage with Kenneth A. Campbell on August 18, 1962 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro, and he survives her. She was employed as a housekeeper at the Caro Regional Center until her retirement. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Ken Campbell of Caro; four children and their spouses, Terri & Terry Hollingshead of Flint, Kenny Campbell of Caro, Kandi & David Dragus of Caro, Kristie Campbell-Chapelo of Caro; twelve grandchildren, Nichole & Keith Bourasaw, Mitchell and Madyson Hollingshead, Jessica, Emily and Andrew Campbell, Taylor, Brett and Corey Dragus and his fianc, Alissa Zumer, Jeffrey & Paul Scott, Ryan Stapleton and his fianc, Shelby Stewart, Brendan Makidon; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Scarlett, Kylah, Grace and Jaxon; special friends, Aradia Bristol, Shayla Sullivan, Martha Wright and Tamie Kapa; two sisters, Carroll and her husband, Roland, Elizando, and Sandra Bailey-Cox; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving Trixie Belle. In keeping with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Wigand officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider contributions to Compassus Hospice.
