Barbara J. Guster

Barbara Joan Guster, age 78 of Lake Twp. near Caseville died Tuesday evening, April 5, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon.
She was born May 5, 1932, in Flint to the late Forrest and Mary (Potter) Young, moving to Caseville in 1950.
On November 10, 1952, she was united in marriage to Mike Guster at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog. Mike preceded her in death May 12, 2001.

Barbara was a waitress in her younger years, working at several area restaurants, including Dormey’s, Bay Window and Sherwood on the Hill. She had also been employed Firestone (seatbelt) in Bad Axe and did adult foster care.

Surviving are four sons, Mitch (Gail) Guster of Caseville, Joe Guster of Lake Twp., Robert (Barb) Guster of Caseville and Jerry (Amy) Guster of Lake Twp.; three grandchildren, Samantha, Mike and Dan; three great grandchildren, Chad, Mike and Julia; sibling, Wilma Burton, Dorothy Warren, Marjorie Jones , Robert, Tim and Dan Young. Preceding her in death were two children, Debbie and Rick and a brother, Richard Young.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services, memorial gifts may be directed to the family for Joe.
