Barbara J. Heiden

Barbara J Heiden age 59, of Elkton passed away Wednesday morning, April 13, at Courtney Manor, Bad Axe while under hospice care.

She was born April 10, 1957, in Pigeon to the late Fred and Dorothy (Grigg) Bouverette. Barb grew up in Elkton and married her high school sweetheart, Tim Heiden. They were wed October 5, 1974 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkton. They made their home and raised their family in Elkton.

Barb had been employed with the Neeb Corp at the Tom Thumb Market in Elkton from 1986 until 1997, when she went to McDonald Food and Family Center, retiring in 2007 for health reasons.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed working in her yard, dancing and playing with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Tim; two sons, Tim (Alicia) Heiden of Peck and Jason (fiancée, Tiffaney Rice) Heiden of Port Austin; three grandchildren, Alaina, Cal and Lincoln; siblings, Cathy (Dave) Briesmiester of Caseville, Diane Palach of Bad Axe, Randy (Debbie) Bouverette of Elkton, Theresa (Gary) Miller of Elkton, Mary(Paul) Greyerbiehl of Cass City, Keith Bouverette of Bad Axe and Tim Bouverette of Elkton; sisters-in-law, Nancy Babisch of Grant Twp and Beverly Bouverette of Elkton and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Fred, Tom and Terry Bouverette.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, April, 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkton. Rev. Rodney Schwab, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.

Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 8 PM Friday and at the church after 10 AM Saturday.
Memorials may be given to Relay for Life.
