Barbara Ada Hunt

Barbara Ada Hunt, 71, of Bad Axe, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital after a brief illness.

Barb was born July 23, 1949 in Pigeon to the late Haskell and Mary (Lissak) Watts. She graduated from Laker High School in 1967. Barb married the love of her life Duane W. Hunt Jr. on October 19, 1968 at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog; he preceded her in death February 11, 2006.

Barb was employed by Walmart and Normans for many years. Barb loved spending time with her grandchildren and grand-dogs. She loved trips to the casino and shopping trips.

Barb is survived by her sons Jason Hunt of Bad Axe and Eric (Samantha) Hunt of Sebewaing; grandchildren Jade, Danielle, Brooklyn, Jason Jr, Kendal, Kyle and Fiona; brother Dennis (Lori) Watts of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Richard and Jim Watts.

Private interment will be at St. Felix Cemetery in Pinnebog. A celebration of life will be planned for next year.
