Barbara I. Raymond

Barbara I. Raymond age 63, of Lake Twp. died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at her home with her family at her side.
She was born October 31, 1946 to the late Jack C. and Beatrice J. (Quick) Tewsley in Detroit.
On July 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Raymond in Utica where they made their home. In 1988, they moved to Lake Twp.

Some of Barbara's favorite things to do were to play at the casino and go kayaking. She loved spending time with her family, laughing with Norma and friends. She especially enjoyed watching old movies with her daughters.
Most recently Barbara was working behind the deli counter at the Caseville IGA.
She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society of Caseville.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Ken; four daughters, Michelle (John) Nickerson of Kinde, Mandy (Dale) Miller of Cass City, Melisa (Jason) Raymond and Rachel Raymond both of Port Austin; five grandchildren, Garrett and Shianne Nickerson, Jordan Raymond, Caitlyn Miller and Lupita Young and her sister Norma (Ralph) Scianimanico of Centerline.


An Eagle Auxiliary Memorial service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, February 11, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
