Barbara Ann Reidel

Barbara Ann Reidel, of Sebewaing, at the age of 72 passed away April 29, 2011 at her home. She was born October 25, 1938 in Sebewaing to Robert and Clara (Lenz) Nitz. Barbara married Daniel "Paul" Reidel at Immanuel Lutheran Church on November 19, 1977. He passed away December 14, 1998. Barbara worked at the Old Heidelburg Inn, the owner and operator of the Country Kitchen and worked as a cook at the Lamplighter Restaurant. She retired in 2005.

She is survived by her loving mother Clara Nitz. Her dearest children: Alan D. (Romanita) Born, Deborah (Bradley) Neu, & James R. (Linda) Born. Barbara is the proud grandmother of Jaimie (Garrett) McGourty, Kari (Byron) Campbell, Stephanie Born, Christopher Born, Michael (Aimee) Neu, and Timothy (Christa) Neu. She is the great grandmother of Maria, Gracie, Xavier, Mariella, & Isabel. Dearest sister of Lorrine Kuhl, James Nitz, and Jerry Nitz.

Visitation Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 2-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Sebewaing.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Funeral Home at 1pm with Rev. Boyer officiating.
