Barbara J. Werth

Barbara J. Werth, age 79, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Barbara was born on March 9, 1939, to Paul and Berth Faust. She married Frederick W. Werth on August 11, 1956, at St. Paul Lutheran Parsonage in Linkville, Michigan. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2017. Barbara always put faith first in her life. She also worked as a book keeper for Werth Plumbing and Heating and Werth Orchard and Pressed Cider. Barbara was a hard worker, taking care of her family, raising 7 children, sewing the majority of the children's clothes, baking for her family, was a Cub Scout leader and volunteered a few years at the Immanuel Lutheran School cafeteria. She also enjoyed playing her organ.

Barbara is survived by her three sons; Frederick Jay Werth & wife Jean of Lake Orion, Bennett Ty Werth & wife Kim of Elkton, Todd Alan Werth and friend Krissy Lea Neal of Sebewaing. Three daughters; Colleen Kay (Warren) Iles of San Jose, California, Jacqueline Jean (Michael) Kohler from Sterling Heights and Amy Marie McCollum from Chesterfield Township, Michigan. Twelve grandchildren; Sarah (Nick) Lusk from Chesterfield, MI , Warren Iles from Milwaukee, WI, Bryan & Jamie McCollum Harrison Township, Jessica Werth-Kimble of East Lansing, MI, Amanda Werth of Elkton,  Kristen & Jon Kelly of Newport, MI, Frederick (Rick) Werth of Lake Orion, MI, Rachel Brown of Lake Orion, MI, Elizabeth Werth of Austin, TX & Brandus Werth of San Antonio, TX and Sebewaing, MI. Eleven great grandchildren, Jadin Mankiewicz's, Brooke Kutschman, Makayla & Brynn Lusk, Xander & Nova Werth, Kayden Kelly, Tucker Werth, Elijah,  Emilyn & Emerson Brown. Siblings: Robert Faust, Jeannette McDonald, Jeannine Ziehm and Peggy Kelly.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; and daughter, Cynthia Lynn (Jon) Kelly from Monroe, MI.

Visitation and service will be held privately, for family only.

Memorial donations may be given to Christ the King Lutheran School.
