Beatrice Lillian Theaker of Caro, age 81, passed away on the morning of Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Heritage Hill Assisted Living. She was born June 25, 1941, in Fenton, the daughter of the late B.J. and Florence (Wegner) Perry. Bea attended Vassar High School and went on to work as a nursing home aid, a waitress at Woolworth's, and in real estate. On November 22, 1963, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Ivan Theaker. Their marriage was blessed with over forty-two years of marriage, two beautifully blended families, and countless memories. Sadly, Ivan preceded Bea in death on January 26, 2006. Throughout life, Bea enjoyed gardening, playing cards, crafts, and scrapbooking. She loved to sew and crochet, making beautiful afghans with throw pillows to match. When it came to a birthday or wedding, you could always count on Bea to decorate the most delicious looking cake. She always had a smile on her face, would help anyone she could, and made sure to keep the coffee pot on in case someone wanted to stop by. In her recent years, she loved to have fun participating in the activities and games Heritage Hill would coordinate. Above all else, Bea cherished time spent with her family and friends. Her smile, kindness, and love will be missed for generations to come.
