Beaulah V. Kretzschmer

Beaulah V. Kretzschmer, 95, of Owendale, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro.

Beaulah was born on September 6, 1922 in Brookfield Township to the late Wesley and Eliza (Crouch) Kain.  She married Homer Kretzschmer September 21, 1941 at the Grant Methodist Church.  He preceded her in death on February 25, 2000.  Beaulah worked at Automotive Industries in Owendale for 27 years and worked on the family farm.  She was a member of the Owendale United Methodist Church and their Women’s Society.   She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, especially euchre and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan.

She is survived by her daughter Marsha of Bay City: son Alan (Brenda) of Owendale; grandchildren Karen (Don) Dorsch of Bay City and Kendall (Alanna) of Howell; sister Virginia Roeber of Pigeon, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and granddogs Molly and Jane.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, January 9 ^th at the Owendale United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Cleland officiating.  Burial in the Grant Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-7 Monday at Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton.  Memorials may be made to the Owendale United Methodist Church Building Fund or Tuscola County Medical Care Community.
