Benjamin Lee Wilson

Benjamin "Ben" Lee Wilson, 45, of Akron, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, in Bay City. Born on August 28, 1978, Ben dedicated his life to serving others as a committed Caro Center Medical Technician, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many with his compassion and unwavering work ethic.

Despite encountering adversities along his journey, Ben exemplified resilience, facing challenges head-on with determination and a contagious sense of humor that never failed to uplift those in his presence. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ben found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with his beloved children, indulging in motorcycle rides, and unwinding in the comfort of his hot tub.

Ben is survived by his adoring sons, Benjamin and Steven; his father, David Wilson; and his brothers, Michael (Heidi) and Matt Wilson. He was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Veronica Wilson. Though he may have departed this world, Ben's legacy of kindness and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Caro First Baptist Church in Caro with Pastor Marc Herron officiating. Ben’s family will be present to receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
