Bert W. Dubs, age 62, passed away November 20, 2016, at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
Bert was born November 4, 1954, in Pigeon, to William and Valaria (LaLonde) Dubs. He was united in marriage on February 10, 1973, to Linda Rievert, in Bach, MI. He worked for Tower/Active as a tool and die setter. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, metal detecting, playing cards, driving around in his scooter, and chatting with everyone he came in contact with.
Bert is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Joseph (Andrea Gergely) Dubs and Tammy (Robert) Hallock, both of Sebewaing; adopted son, Gregory (Jennifer) Smith of Texas; siblings: Rita Otto, Richard (Alice) Dubs, Frank (Judy) Dubs, Anthony (Lori) Dubs, Bill (Pamela) Dubs, Thomas (Cindy) Dubs, Patrick (Terri) Dubs, Theresa (Matt) Gust, Pam (Jim) Bucholtz and Matt (Michele) Dubs; grandchildren: Devin, Andrea, Natasha, Joshua Dubs, Robbie and Jessica Hallock, Nicholas and Justin Hill, and Chase Hallock; great grandson, James Hallock; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William and a sister, JoAnn Dubs (infant).
Bert's wishes were to have cremation take place.
A celebration of life will happen at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice.
