Bessie Trudeau

Bessie Trudeau, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 94, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 21, 2016, while a resident at Heritage Hill in Caro. Bessie was born July 16, 1921 in Watrousville, the daughter of the late Clark and Agnes (Evanush) Dinsmore. She was a 1939 graduate of Caro High School, and was united in marriage with James Terry Trudeau on October 17, 1944. Terry preceded her in death on November 19, 2002. Bessie and Terry owned and operated Trudeau's Bakery for many years, where Bessie was known for her friendly smile, kind heart and giving manner. Bessie was a member of St. Christopher Parish in Caro. Bessie is survived by two children and their spouses, Robert & Nancy Trudeau of Green Valley, Arizona, and Linda & Douglas Kline of Caro; grandson, Chris & Heather of DeWitt; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Olivia and Carter; and many good friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Bessie was preceded in death by an infant sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart site, in Caro with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro following a luncheon. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Bessie's family would like to thank Heritage Hill Assisted Living and Hometown Hospice for Bessie's care, as well as Margaret, Ruth, and many other special friends.
