Beth Ann Schnitker

Beth Ann Schnitker, age 62, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Saturday morning, April 13, 2024.

Beth was born in Pigeon on April 29, 1961, to the late Donald and Jessie (Beadle) Otto. She graduated in 1979 from Lakers High School. On August 30, 1980, she married Paul A. Schnitker at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Pigeon. Beth worked for USA Schools from 1989-2023, driving school bus and working as a para-pro. She was known to the kids as "Miss Beth". She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities. She also enjoyed boating, fishing, going to garage sales, flea markets, riding the golf cart, trips to Florida and being with family and friends having BBQ's and pool parties. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church.

Beth is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Christina (Brandon) Bruce of Unionville; grandchildren: Blake and Brystal Bruce; sister, Gahl (Dave) Mitin of Bay City; brother-in-law, Lenny Wing of Sebewaing; sister-in-law, Debra Fritz of Sebewaing; nieces and nephews: Michael (Lana) Mitin, Tamara Mitin-Hartman, Justin Fritz and Marybeth (Josh) Engelhardt; great nieces and nephews: Andrew, Hannah, Krew, Wyatt, Khloe, Emma and Easton.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents as well as her in-laws: Curtis and Betty Schnitker; and brother-in-law, Randy Schnitker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at the church cemetery in Unionville.

Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church or to the family.
