Betty Lou Davis

Betty Lou Davis of Caro, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. She was born March 10, 1930 in Pontiac, the daughter of the late Marion and Marian (Robertoy) Walters. Betty was united in marriage with Delmer Lee Davis on November 29, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky. She moved to the Caro area in 1979, coming here from Lake Orion. Betty enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. She was a member of the Caro First Baptist Church. Betty is survived by her husband of over sixty-five years, Delmer Lee Davis; two children, John & Edie Davis of Clarkston, Linda Galloway of Clarkston; one granddaughter, Jennifer and Brian O'Neil of Clarkston; one brother, Robert Walters of Rose City; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Caro First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Wigand officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Vassar.
