Betty L. House

Betty L. House of Sebewaing, age 81, died on Sunday, March 10, 2004, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Deming, mother Dorthy Deming, and brother Robert Deming.

Betty is survived by the following: her husband of 64 years, Gerald J. House, daughter Amy Krug, son-in-law Jeffery Krug, son Gerald R. House, grandchildren Chad House, Chelius Krug, Stanley Krug, Gerald E. House, sister Janet Johnstin, brothers William and Richard Deming.

Betty was born on April 12, 1942 in Bay Port, Michigan, to parents Raymond and Dorthy Deming. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Above all, she was kind and compassionate and loved to take care of those in need. She enjoyed painting and sewing. She especially took joy in coloring and playing outside with her great grandchildren.

In honor of Betty's wishes, a celebration of life will be held this summer at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Michigan Humane Society.
