Betty Jane Kundinger

Betty Jane Kundinger, of Sebewaing, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 6, 2015; age 88 years. Betty was born on March 5, 1927, to the late Arnold and Esther (Bauer) Gremel. She married Karl Walter Kundinger on May 29, 1948, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bach. He preceded her in death in 1991. Betty worked for many years at Michigan Sugar Company. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She enjoyed spending her winters in Boynton Beach, FL.

Surviving are her children: Randall (Donna) Kundinger of Olathe, KS, Mary (Robert) Bender of Frankenmuth, and Eric (Dee Dee) Kundinger of Springfield, MO; 3 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Norma Bates and a brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Judy) Gremel, and a sister-in-law, Hilda Gremel.

She is preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Orville Gremel; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Al) Taglauer; and brother-in-law, Vern Bates.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 5-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am. The Rev. David Reed will officiate.

Burial will be at Northlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Christ the King Lutheran School.
