Betty Ann Rohlfs

Betty Ann Rohlfs of Fairgrove, age 91, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Grayling Nursing and Rehab Community in Grayling. Betty was born January 15, 1931 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Ray and Wilma (Medcalf) Rondo and was a graduate of Caro High School, Class of 1949. Betty was united in marriage with Allen Rohlfs on September 17, 1949 in Caro and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2005. She was employed with State Savings Bank in Caro as assistant vice-president for twenty-eight years, retiring in 1996. In her early years, she was a 4-H leader and Brownie leader, and most recently church organist at the Caro First Baptist Church. Betty is survived by two daughters, Debby Rohlfs (Dennis Brewer) and Vicky (Gay) Claymore of Las Vegas, Nevada; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rayola (Roy) Knudsen. Funeral services will be held at the Caro First Baptist Church on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Herron officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Caro First Baptist Church.
