Betty Jean Stark

Betty Jean Stark, age 81, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Betty was born August 30, 1934, in Bach, to the late Carl and Mary (Reher) Stark. She retired from Sebewaing Industries. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, playing bingo, cards, coin collecting, cooking, baking pies, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children: Linda (Bert) Dubs of Sebewaing, Dennis (Eileen) Rievert of Gagetown, Janete (Jim) Rabun of Sebewaing and Edward (Ame) Rievert of Gagetown; siblings: Herbert Stark, Lillian Irion and Arthur Stark; 12 grandchildren: Joseph (Andrea Gergley) Dubs, Tammy (Bert) Hallock), Jeffery (Jeannee) Rievert, Stacy Rievert, Sarah (Tom) Goretski, Amy (Kevin) Dusute, Laura (Nicole) Weinlander, James (Samantha) Rabun, Jr., William (Nichole) Rabun, Alan Rabun, Eric Rievert and Carlee Rievert; 32 great grandchildren; and sister-in-laws: Betty Stark and Phyllis Jamieson.

She is preceded in death by her parents,; infant daughter, Judy; siblings: Lydia Stark, Elsie Stark, Dorothy Stark, John Stark, Ed Stark, Martha Schenk, Elma Boitos, Bill Stark and Ruth Kastraba; sister-in-law, Dorothy Stark, Ema Stark and Ann Stark; brother-in-laws: Mike Boitos, Paul Schenk, Howard Irion and George Kastraba.

Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-9pm.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery – Bach.

Memorial donation may be given to the family for funeral expenses.
