Betty Jane Steinman

Betty Jane “Bets” Steinman, 65, of Caseville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper Campus in Saginaw.

Betty was born May 11, 1952 to the late Edwin and Deloris (Langley) Steinman.  She graduated from Caseville High School in 1970 and from Delta College School of Nursing.  She worked as a registered nurse at Covenant Hospital for 35 years and at Huron Medical Center for 6 years.  Betty attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parrish and was a member of the Caseville Arts Council.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, participating in the Caseville Cheeseburger Festival and spending time with friends and loving family.  Betty put the needs of others before herself.

She is survived by her sister Patti Steinman of Saginaw; special cousin David Langley and aunts Helen Guster, Barbara Steinman and Jane Steinman.  She was preceded in death by her sister Lori Steinman-Schweitzer and grandparents Albertus (Susan) Langley and Clarence (Jessie) Steinman.

A memorial service will be 3:00pm Sunday, July 8th in the James G. Stahl Auditorium of her alma mater Caseville Public School.  Graveside services were Thursday, May 3 ^rd at Caseville Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Society of Michigan.
