Beulah Mae Craig, age 89, of Caro, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at United Hospice in Marlette. She was born on February 4, 1921 in Mayville and lived much of her life in Tuscola County. The former Beulah Ireland married Lee Craig in 1936 in Mayville. They moved around some and ended up coming back to Caro. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1990. She was a homemaker and her life revolved around her large family. She enjoyed gardening. She is survived by five sons, Wilber (Sandy) Craig of Gagetown, Terry (Renate) Craig of Caro, Ronald (Joyce) Craig of Sandusky, Rev. Jerry (Norma) Craig of Nebraska and Michael (Evelyn) Craig of Tampa, Florida; 16 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Pratt and Rev. Gerald Craig officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
