Beulah Haverstick

Beulah Joyce Haverstick, age 82, of Mayville passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw. She was born on January 27, 1928 in Pontiac to the late Clayton and Helena (Prudell) Adams. The former Beulah Adams grew up in Pontiac, and moved to Lake Orion where she was a Lake Orion High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Lyle Haverstick, and he preceded her in death. Beulah was employed with General Motors in Pontiac until her retirement. She moved to Mayville in 1987. She enjoyed the lottery, bingo, and going to the casino. Beulah was an excellent quilt maker, and did crocheting as well as knitting. She loved her dogs and cats. Beulah is survived by two sons, Hal (Kim) Haverstick of Clarkston and George Haverstick of Mayville; two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings. In accordance with her wishes a graveside service will be held at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. There will be no visitation at the Collon Funeral Home.
