Beverly Kay Greyerbiehl of Bad Axe, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2026, while at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Bad Axe on April 14, 1944, the daughter of the late Edward and Elinor (Elliott) Iseler. She was raised on her family’s farm and graduated from Bad Axe High School with the Class of 1962.
On July 20, 1963, Bev was united in marriage to the love of her life, Michael Greyerbiehl, at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog. Together, they shared many wonderful years, building a life filled with love, memories, and family until Michael’s passing on October 25, 2012.
Throughout her life, Bev held several jobs, including positions at Hamill Manufacturing and Voltron Power. However, the role she treasured most was that of a mother. Bev chose to stay home and devote herself to raising her children, a decision that brought her joy and fulfillment. Her family was always her greatest pride and the most important part of her life.
Bev found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading a good book, working on a puzzle, or gathering with loved ones to play games. She had a special love for the outdoors and took pride in tending her garden. Each year, she grew and preserved its harvest, filling her pantry with homemade favorites. Her delicious tomato juice and dill beans became treasured family favorites, enjoyed for many years and fondly remembered by those she loved.
Bev also enjoyed a little adventure and never passed up an opportunity to try her luck. She especially loved traveling with her sisters on casino trips, visiting places ranging from the Saginaw and Mount Pleasant all the way to Biloxi, Mississippi. Whether enjoying the excitement of the slot machines or soaking up the sunshine, these getaways provided her with many happy memories and special moments with her sisters.
Above all, Bev will be remembered for the love she poured into her family, the simple joys she embraced, and the many memories she created along the way. Her devotion as a mother, her love of home and family, and the traditions she cherished will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Bev’s memory are her children and their spouses, Sandy & Dan Post, Holly & John Ballinger, Laura & Ron Dubs, Michelle & Rick Drabek, Mike & Heather Greyerbiehl, and Brandon & Nicole Greyerbiehl; grandchildren, Dalton, Kyle, Nick, Brady, Cody, Evan, Justin, Katelyn, Nathan, Derek, Grace, Charlotte, and Landon; eight great-grandchildren, and one on the way; sisters, Shirley Wydra and Linda Longuski. In addition to her parents and loving husband of forty-nine years, Michael, Bev was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Moore; and brothers, Gene Iseler and Curt Iseler.
A memorial service for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2026, at St. Hubert Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Yesu Mulakaleti presiding. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Ransford Funeral Home in Pigeon and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. Bev will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Bad Axe. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Huntington Association of Michigan.
