Beverly M. Kain

Beverly M. Kain, age 80, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region.

Beverly was born December 15, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bert and Mary (Horanko) Harris. She married Donald Kain, Jr. on April 29, 1967 at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Together they raised 3 sons. She enjoyed spending time with her family in Toledo, shopping, cruising around town and an occasional scratch off ticket. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and attending all their extra activities.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Donald Kain, Jr.; her 3 sons: Don Kain III, Brian (Theresa) Kain and Matt Kain, all of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Tanner, Ryan, Lila, Zeke, Xander, Brady, Kasey and Riley; great granddaughter, Elliana; siblings: Shirley (Richard) Todd, Kenneth Harris, Jimmy Harris and Sue Goebel Harris; and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Don, Jack, Boyd, Floyd, Allen, Robert, Bert Jr., Harold and William Harris, Carol LaPontney and JoAnn Williams.

Per Beverly's wishes, cremation has taken place. Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing handled the arrangements.

Everyone is invited to her "Celebration of Life" and family reunion on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 2pm-6pm with a light luncheon and a small prayer service at 3pm at the Sebewaing VFW Sportsman's Club.
