Beverly J. Knost, 78, of Port Austin died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.
Beverly was born December 8, 1940 in Detroit to the late Henry and Barbara (Sauter) Kreller. She graduated from Lake Shore High School in 1958. She married Martin F. Knost on June 29, 1962 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Clair Shores.
Beverly was a homemaker. She retired to Port Austin from Warren in 1990. She was a member of the U&I Club. She enjoyed playing cards and spending winters in Florida.
She is survived by her husband Martin; children Christine (Terry) Braun of Port Austin and Kenneth (Sharon) Knost of Brighton; grandchildren Rebecca, Bradley, Jaclyn, Joshua, Jessica, and Jennifer; and brother Henry “Bud” (Donna) Kreller of New Balitimore.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday, December 27th at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon with Rev. Mark Gerisch of Hope Lutheran Church in Sebewaing officiating. Burial will be in Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Pigeon. Visitation will be Noon to 3:00pm Thursday at Cross Lutheran Church. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Cross Lutheran Church.
