Beverly Joan Loney

Beverly Joan Loney of Caro, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community. Bev was born May 29, 1937 in Mount Clemens, the daughter of the late Kenneth & Velma Martha (Baker) Walker, and was raised by Velma and her husband, Robert Schillinger. She was united in marriage with DuWayne Loney on May 7, 1956 in Waterford, and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2007. Many in the community will remember Bev for her twenty-five year career as a manager at Bill's Foodland in Caro. She also had a love for Bingo and would play as often as she could. Bev enjoyed ceramics, gardening, and music. Left to cherish her memory are three children and their spouses, Robert & Sue Loney of Vassar, Timothy & Joan Loney of Mayville, Sheri & Todd Beckrow of Caro; thirteen grandchildren and their spouses, Jenn & Josh Dunham of Caro, Brenda Loney, Eric & Kimmy Loney, Kreg & Kelly Loney, DuWayne & Karmen Loney, all of Vassar, Jake & Ashley Loney of Mayville, Ryan & Kelsie Loney of Vassar, Alex & Kyrstin Loney of Kingston, Nicole Hutchinson & Aaron of Vassar, Kyle Hutchinson & Amy of Gillette, Wyoming, Kaitlin Hutchinson of Vassar, Xavier Beckrow of Bay City, Kaila Beckrow of Vassar; eighteen great-grandchildren with three more expected shortly; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Walker of California, Star Loney of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Bev was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, LeRoy, and Joseph Walker; son-in-law, Roby Hutchinson; and great-grandson, Wade Dunham. In keeping with Bev's wishes, a private family service was held at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
