Bill Fleming, 70, of Bad Axe passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Fiddler’s Green in Bad Axe.
Bill was born February 16, 1952 in Pigeon to the late James and Mildred (Osborne) Fleming. He graduated in 1970 from Laker High School. Bill proudly served in the US Army from 1970 to 1972, stationed at Fort Bragg. He was an artist who excelled at painting and poetry.
Bill is survived by his sister Judy Fleming of Caseville and brothers Dan Fleming of Northville and Jim (Candy) Fleming of Missouri; step-mother Angela Krauth of Decker; and nieces and nephews James, Jaime, Lindsey, Rochelle, Stephanie, Charlie, Tara, L.J., Chancey, Patrick, Liam, Lauren, Harrison, Brooks, and Georgia. He was preceded in death by his sisters Jane Patterson and Patti Wolfe.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, February 11th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Saturday and continue until the time of service.
