Billie Joe Grannell

Billie Joe Grannell, 54, of Caseville, lost her battle to cancer on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her home under the loving care of her family.

Billie was born April 29, 1970 in Sycamore, Illinois to the late Victor and Ella (Hinkle) Cray Craft.  She worked as a CENA and loved caring for her patients through her job at various area nursing homes.  Billie enjoyed many different hobbies such as fishing with her grandchildren, woodworking, drawing, singing, taking care of others, and watching the Red Wings. She was the strongest mother and "gram". Her loving memory will live on forever through her children and her grandchildren who all adore and love her with their whole hearts.

She is survived by her children Ashley (Tyler) Shook of Claremont, NC, James Jr of Elkton and Leigha (Josiah Nuncio) of Pigeon; grandchildren Jacob, Noah, Caden, Maverick, Theodore, Gabriel, Ezekiel, Elliana and Luciana; siblings Timothy, David, Penny and Pamela; significant other David Guigar; aunt Sandy Medford; uncles Robert and Jim Cray Craft and her faithful dog Cubby.  She was preceded in death by her brother Michael.

Memorial service will be Noon Wednesday, October 23rd at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ean Green officiating.

Visitation will be 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to University of Michigan Cancer Research-Rogel Cancer Center.
