Bobbie J. Stafford

Bobbie Jean Stafford, 84, of Pigeon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Scheurer Long Term Care in Pigeon.

Bobbie was born May 18, 1937 in Monroe.  She was the daughter of Dolly Streavle and step-daughter of William Streavle.  Bobbie married Thomas Stafford on December 19, 1952 in Base Line.  She worked for many years at the Bay Port Elementary School as a cook.  She also belonged to the Bay Port Historical Society.  She attended St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church and belonged to the Altar Society.  Bobbie enjoyed sewing, needle point, crocheting and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, including her cats and dogs (she had many throughout the years).

Bobbie is survived by her son Thomas (Pam) Stafford of Pigeon and their children TJ, Tim, Troy (Sara), Terry (Marie), and Samantha (Stacy); daughter Pam (Bob) Gottschalk of Kinde and their children Shannon (Josh) Hicks and Tishua (Shawn) Johnson; 10 great-grandchildren and her brother Ronnie Streavle.  She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, infant son Paul and daughter Beatrice.

No services are planned at this time.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
