Bonnie Belle Fisher

Bonnie Belle Fischer, age 67, of Sebewaing, passed away late Saturday night at her home with her family at her side.

She was born March 30, 1947, in Unionville, daughter of the late Claude and Ila (Gotham) Sherman. She married Leo E. Fischer on August 15, 1969 in Sebewaing at the Catholic Church. She worked at Tower in Elkton for 40 years and was a member of the Sebewaing VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels in her yard, spending time with her daughter and being around children.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Leo; one daughter, Amy (fiancé Donovan Selby) of Sebewaing; siblings: Hazel and Glen Abbe of Owendale, Ernie and Shirley Sherman of Sebewaing, Rosemary and Gary Drews of Caro, Joyce and Frank Spencer of Cass City, Gloria and Mike Buchinger of Reese, Linda and Oscar Schmidt of Vassar, Gail and Mike Osborn of Caro, and Leroy and Stella Sherman of Fairgrove; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Gary Oesterie; one sister and brother in law, Pearl and Richard Zaleski.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
