Bonnie Sue Miller

Bonnie Sue Miller, age 75, of Sebewaing, passed away January 20, 2021, from Covenant-Cooper Hospital in Saginaw from heart complications.

Bonnie was born July 8, 1945, in Pigeon to Howard "Bud" Thede and Marguerite (Beck) Thede. She lived on the farm near Kilmanagh until family moved to operate Bud's Landing in Rose Island in 1956. After graduating from Sebewaing High School in 1963, she moved to the Detroit Metro area and worked as a bookkeeper. While managing properties in Troy, she became interested in alternative healing and pursued education in that realm. While working with Pure Herbs Ltd. In Sterling Heights, she shared her knowledge with countless people in that arena forming many close friendships and associates. She was extremely rewarded to see her holistic interests become more widely accepted and integrated into traditional medicine. She remained deeply concerned with natural health issues after retiring to Rose Island in 2006 where she continued her love of all living creatures, feeding and adopting strays and watching wildlife and the wild birds at her feeder.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Sharon Thede of Sebewaing; brother, Gary (Nancy) Thede of Lake Orion; nephew, Dean (Dayna) Thede of Lake Orion; and niece, Lori (Jim) Felker of Oxford; great nephews and nieces: Alex, Jacob, Joey and Samantha Thede, Benjamin and Emily Felker.

Pursuant to Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
