Bradbury R Gilbert

Bradbury R Gilbert age 95 of Pigeon died Tuesday October 4, at Courtney Manor.

He was born July 23, 1921 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Luther and Florence (Ames) Gilbert.

On April 12 1958, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Filion of Bad Axe. In 1953, she was assigned to the Naval Air Station in Minneapolis, while working with the American Red Cross, where she met Bradbury. They married at the First Methodist Church in Bad Axe and moved back to Minnesota shortly thereafter.

Brad was employed at the First National Bank of Minneapolis for 26 years retiring in 1982. They moved to Lake Twp in 1989 and were members of the Caseville United Methodist Church. In 1999, they moved to Country Gardens and became members of the First United Methodist, Pigeon. Dorothy preceded him in death January 14, 2004.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Memorial gifts may be given to First United Methodist Church, Pigeon.
