Bradley Edward Haddix

Bradley Edward Haddix, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side. Brad was born on July 18, 1964 in Marlette, the son of the late Bud Haddix and Donna Grace (McIntosh) Portice. He held various factory

jobs and spent his life as a designer and fabricator. Brad’s passion for music and motors was unmistakable; a self-taught guitar player since age 11, he loved being on stage playing music, as well as building and racing anything gas-powered. Brad adored his dobermans and always had a good time with friends. His free spirit and talents will continue to resonate in the hearts and memories of all those whose lives he touched, which number many due to his big heart.

Brad leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Tim, Joyy, Derek, Morgan, and Dwight; grandchildren, Olivia, Lyric, Bentley, Cheveyo, Adreena, Deedra, Thomas, Destinee, Makenzie, and Bryce; sisters, Denise and Dara; ex-wife Lisa; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by sisters, Rona and Kayln, and son-in-law James.

In keeping with Brad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
