Brenda Lee Garrett

Brenda Lee Garrett of Cass City, age 57, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Covenant Health Care – Cooper in Saginaw, surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born December 4, 1967 in Pontiac, the daughter of Donald Garrett and the late Kathy (Ellis) Garrett. She graduated from Pontiac Central High School with the Class of 1987. Since 1992, Brenda shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Armando Lugo. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Brenda worked for many years as a manager at Taco Bell, where she found joy not only in her work but also in the connections she made with her team and customers. Brenda had a knack for bringing people together, whether through family get-togethers or the open door of her home. Her heart was as big as her smile, and she never hesitated to extend her kindness to anyone in need, treating them like family. She found joy in playing computer games, but her greatest happiness came from time spent with her beloved fourteen grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, Armando Lugo; four children, Christopher Garrett (Natasha Wight), Catherine Lugo (Frankie Periso), Theresa Lugo and fiancé, Steven Hill, and Brianna Lugo (Justin Hall); fourteen grandchildren, Morgan, Anavaeh, Aiden, Paislee, Grace, Ashton, Zhander, Lainey, Bud, Lillian, Cameron, Aliya, Jackson, and Oaklynn; her father, Donald Garrett; sister, Kelly Sanchez; brother, Bobby Garrett; and four nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one niece, Kayla Sanchez.
