Brenda Lee Wightman

Brenda Lee Wightman of Caro, age 54, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Brenda was born March 21, 1965 in Cass City, the daughter of Dennis and Linda (Gostick) Langley. She was employed for twenty-five years with Engineered Tools Corporation. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a member of the Caro Moose Lodge and Caro Gun Club. Brenda enjoyed gardening, camping, antiquing, photography, and spending time with her dogs and grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her significant other, Scott Gould, of Caro; one daughter, Becky McIntosh and her significant other, Travis Warren, of Caro; parents, Dennis & Linda Langley of Caro; three grandchildren, Chole, Melanie and Hailey McIntosh; Brenda's chosen grandchildren, Sophie Warren, and Lily Johnson; two sisters and spouses, Lori & Raymond Klinesmith of Sebewaing, Jennifer & Michael Van Camp of Grand Blanc; one brother, David Langley of Hillsdale; five nieces and nephews, Eric Cannon, Dana Klinesmith (John Katz), Allison & Trevor Campbell, Collin Van Camp and Noah Van Camp; great-niece and great-nephews, Bryce Cannon, Callie Katz and Lincoln Katz; Brenda's "adopted sister," Debs Clinesmith; and Becky's "adopted sister," Emily Bero. Brenda was preceded in death by one niece, Gianna Stejakowski. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Women of the Moose service Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
