Brenden Denson Smith

Brenden Denson Smith, 13, of Caseville died Saturday, July 27, 2013 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Pigeon.

Brenden was born April 21, 2000 in Lapeer to Richard Denson Smith Jr. and Angela Fisher Smith. He lived in Caseville and attended Laker Middle School, where he had recently finished the 6th grade. He enjoyed school, excelling both in academics and sports. He played football, basketball and little league baseball. His inquisitive mind always wanted to learn more and experience more. He was always trying to make people laugh and smile.

He is survived by his parents Richard Jr. and Angela; sisters Kelsey Fisher (Tyler) of Ludington and Hailey Smith of Caseville; niece Ryley Rae; grandfather Richard D. Smith Sr. of Caseville and great-grandmother Betty Hutchins of Davison; and many extended friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas Sawyer and Coy Smith.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, August 1st at St. Roch Catholic Church, Chaplain Karen Bouverette will officiate. Burial will be in Caseville Twp Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville.
