Brian Keith Coltson, Sr.

Brian Keith Coltson, Sr. of Caro, age 62, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his home, with his family by his side. Brian was born on February 13, 1959 in Cass City, the son of Ronald and Loris (Laursen) Coltson. He graduated from Marlette High School and went on to drive truck. He drove in forty-nine of the fifty states and always said he wouldve made it to Hawaii if his truck knew how to swim. Brian was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Lucky Thumb Motorcycle Club, American Motorcycle Association, and active with the NRA. He loved anything to do with motorcycles, dirt bikes, and flat track racing. Brian enjoyed hunting and was a country music enthusiast. You could always find him singing, having a cold one, and playing the guitar. Above all, Brian loved spending time with his family and friends. Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carmen Coltson; children, Samijo, Samantha, Brian Jr., and Brendon; stepchildren, Christopher, Robert, Elizabeth, Mike, Kyle, and Amanda; son-in-law, Eric; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Shawn, Neal, Terry (Judy), and Gary (Michelle); several nieces and nephews; good friends, Terry Aul, Bob Jenson, Ray Billot, and Tim Romain. Brian was welcomed home to heaven by his daughter, Brianna Christine Coltson, twin sister of Brian Jr.; grandparents, Ted & Edna Laursen and Irl & Ellen Coltson; and his other dads, Rings and Dallas Nichols. In keeping with Brians wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
