Brian Moore, age 51 years, of Caro, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at his mothers home with his family present. He was born on July 12, 1955 in Caro and was a graduate from Ft. Leonardwood High School. Brian was a U.S. Army veteran, having served stateside as a medic during the Viet Nam era. He attended trade schools for gunsmithing and jewelry making. Brian then attained four Bachelor Degrees at one time, Magna Cum Laude. He was employed as an instructor at local colleges, most recently at Baker College. Brian was a member of the Theron W. Atwood, Sr. American Legion Post #7, Chairman Pro-Tem of the Caro Historical Commission, and a former member of A.B.A.T.E. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Moore, of Caro; one sister, Gail Lesoski of Caro; a stepdaughter; Alexis (David) Zoric of Seattle, and a grandson, Evan; three nieces, Kristy (Darin) Gohs of Caro, Jamie Neuenschwander and fiance, Brad Tinsley, of Owendale and Stephanie (Brian) Robinson of Wilmot; his special fishing buddy, Carl Freitag of Caro; an aunt, Marcelene (Punk) Morris and her husband, Bob, of Mason; as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Moore; one sister, Denise Neuenschwander; his grandparents; as well as the remainder of his aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Pat Robbins officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery, Fairgrove, with military honors afforded by Theron W. Atwood Sr. American Legion Post #7 and the Military Honors Team. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Brian Moore family discretionary fund, c/o Lucille Moore.
