Brian David Robinson, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Grayling. He was born June 14, 1984 in Saginaw, the son of Newton & Deborah (Allan) Robinson and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Caro High School with the class of 2002. Shortly after that, he enlisted in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. During his time in the army, he served in Iraq and Afghanistan. After his discharge from the army, he worked for a period of time at the Lighthouse in Caro. Brian was a member of the Watrousville United Methodist Church and also a member of the Wounded Warriors. During his free time, Brian enjoyed fast red cars, riding his dirt bike and mixed Martial Arts. Surviving Brian are his mother, Deborah Robinson and her fianc, David Block of Deckerville, Brians two year old daughter, Payton Lynn Robinson and her mother, Emily Dennis of Caro; one brother, Michael Robinson and his wife, Rachel of Moore, Oklahoma; one sister, Lynda Robinson of Caro; his aunts, uncles and their spouses, Pam Boyle of Kingston, David & Shelly Allan of Caro, Beverly & Vern Emberts of St. Johns, Brenda Perkins of Caro, Wayne & Kelli Robinson of Caro; cousins, Mike, Candice, Ben, Tiffany, Travis, Chad, Brooke, Justin, Corey and Grandma Elaine Block. Brians special loves were for his daughter, Payton, his niece, Andrea LaJoie and nephew, Hunter Robinson. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Newton R. Robinson, his grandparents, Dean & Mary Robinson, David & Beverly (Tibbits) Allan and by two cousins, Will Emberts and Kristen Boyle. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Caro United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Gonder officiating. Burial will follow at the Juniata Township Cemetery in Watrousville with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Army and the Caro American Legion. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 11:00 A.M.
