Brody Lee Truemner, age 21 of Owendale, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at home.
He was born in Bad Axe on April 10, 1995, the son of Kevin C. and Sheila F. (Gundlach) Truemner, and was a 2013 graduate from Laker High School.
A hockey player for many years, Brody played with the Huron County Men's Hockey League and the County Line Hockey team in Bay City. While in high school, he played hockey and football. Just recently, Brody played in the Laker High School Alumni game. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends, including the Canboro Road crew. Brody was a former employee of Weltin Spray Foam and currently worked for King Tiling Company.
Brody had an infectious smile that could light a room. He was also known for having the "best snap-chats."
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Sheila, brother Kyle Truemner, and sister Abby Truemner, all of Owendale; paternal grandparents Lee and Janet Truemner of Pigeon; maternal grandparents Richard and Theresa Gundlach of Bad Axe; aunts and uncles: Kari (Matt) Ricker, Kendal (Rosie) Truemner, Deborah Gundlach, Marsha (Ken) Ludlow, Brenda (John) Dean, Lisa Gundlach, and Rich (Kelly) Gundlach; several cousins; and many friends, including special friend Mickayla Bischer.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Linkville, with Rev. Chris Suggitt, pastor, and Rev. Lee Wenskay officiating. Burial will be in Grand Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
