Bruce V. Bolzman

Bruce V. Bolzman age 59 of Bay Port died Tuesday evening, March 20, at his home following a probable heart attack.

He was born July 5, 1952 in Pigeon to Annabelle (Wachner) Bolzman and the late Vern Bolzman. He grew up in Elkton and was a 1970 graduate of Laker High School. After receiving a degree in Applied Science at Ferris, he worked through a firm in Saginaw testing concrete for nuclear power plants, from Niagara Falls, NY to Virginia, Wisconsin and elsewhere around the country. In the early nineties, he took a position as a surveyor with Williams, Osminski and Associates which later joined with Wilcox Professional, Saginaw, where he was currently employed.

Bruce was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many hours with his nephews and friends enjoying the resources that the area had to offer.

Surviving are his mother, Annabelle Bolzman of Bad Axe; his sister, Diane Ellicott of Bad Axe; his brother, Roger (Kathy) Bolzman of Bad Axe; three nephews, James (Amy) Bolzman, Chuck (Dawn) Bolzman and R. J. (Michelle) Bolzman; a niece, Traci Ellicott; great nieces, Hayleigh and Jade, and great nephew, Benjamin.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, March 26 at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Karen Bouverette will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton. Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM Saturday; 1 to 8 PM Sunday and after 10 AM Monday. Memorials may be directed family
